Our Concept
Momo no Yado is an entire traditional kominka farmhouse,
lovingly restored and available for private rental in Kuwana, Mie.
Heavy wooden beams and the warmth of earthen walls — a space carefully preserved by generations past, now blended naturally with modern comforts.
Just 14 minutes by car from Nagashima Spaland. After a full day of adventure, come home to Momo no Yado and unwind at your own pace. Meals shared around the table, quiet time in your own room — moments here become lasting memories of your journey.

Entrance — Genkan
Soft light through a circular window. The bamboo lattice and earthen walls of this entryway feel like a warm homecoming every time you arrive. Take a breath in the earthen vestibule before stepping inside.
Exterior
A heavy traditional tiled roof atop a single-story house with no stairs. Accessible and comfortable for young children and elderly guests alike. Step through the wooden door and enter a space that transcends time.
Kitchen
A large sink, gas stove, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, rice cooker, a full set of cookware and tableware (including children's dishes) — everything you need to cook for all 8 guests with ease.
Dining Room — Evening
A large dining table for 8, lit by the gentle glow of a washi paper pendant lamp. The perfect setting for a special evening with family or friends.
Living & Dining — Daytime
Flooded with natural light, this welcoming living space pairs Scandinavian-style furniture with a traditional tokonoma alcove — where East meets West in easy harmony.
Restroom
A clean Western-style restroom adorned with a vibrant wisteria painting. The attention to detail here reflects the care put into every corner of Momo no Yado.
Bedroom 1
Two double beds in a generously sized room. There's plenty of floor space to open your suitcases without feeling cramped. Deep purple walls and golden botanical motifs give this room a sense of quiet drama.
Bedroom 3
A cozy Japanese-style room lit by a flower-shaped pendant lamp. Sliding doors connect to the adjacent room, offering flexibility for larger groups.
Bedroom 2 — Japanese Suite
Shoji screens and gilded fusuma sliding doors remain intact in this pure Japanese-style bedroom. Crisp white bedding with a soft pink accent brings a gentle freshness — tradition and novelty gracefully intertwined.

Access
Important Notice
Momo no Yado is located along a busy national highway.
Road noise from cars and trucks can be heard inside the property at all hours, day and night.
If you are sensitive to noise or require a very quiet environment, please take this into consideration before booking.
On the other hand, this location offers excellent access to all major attractions in the area — ideal for guests who want to pack in as many experiences as possible!
Under Japan's Private Lodging Business Act (enforced June 2018) and the Inn and Hotel Business Act, hosts are legally required to collect information from all guests.
